My law school is considerably worse than mdjd's. It's my karma that's better.

It's at least slightly more on-topic than fighting about whether Northern Californians have worse commutes than Southern Californians.

Can we get back to talking about wine? Or perhaps cheese?

I'm rather looking forward to summer, and bringing out a nice fume blanc or (gasp!) a rose (anyone able to find the capability to add an accent aigu to letters here?) to enjoy with a reblochon or manchego in the park. And a good fresh salad.

Damn, I wish I ate lunch ... I'm already getting hungry for dinner ...

Was it you whose school had a 2 credit course on defending DUI cases?

Here's my secret (in case this really is bothering you):

Find it spelled with the accent somewhere, copy it and paste it here. Like this: Rosé

Voila.

Nothing so practical, but I enjoyed the two credits I got in The Law of Reproductive Rights and Federal Hegemony, if "enjoyed" means "needed to graduate."

Does "Nietzsche" start with an "S"?

Re: cheese, I continue to believe that d'Affinois is so good it makes brie and camembert taste like ass and spicy ass, respectively. If you buy brie when there is d'Affinois available instead, you make baby Jesus cry. However, baby Jesus forgives you if you live in a godforsaken part of the country where cheese angels fear to tread.

Are you comparing it to real camembert or the pasteurized stuff?

What are you, patentparanycheese? I think I'm comparing it to the camembert they sell at Whole Foods, which is also where I get my d'Affinois, so it's apples to apples, if you will. If the unpasteurized stuff is what they get in France, I will happily concede that all cheeses in France are better than all the cheeses they foist upon our supermarkets, and I base that on only one trip. Imagine how pompous I would be if I, say, traveled there on business.

I can't believe that you two are each attempting to smack the other down based on their cheese choices. Just have a slap fight and a good cry and be done with it gentlemen.

This is the funniest thing I have read on the boards in at least three days.

Jesus fucking christ, Atticus. I was just asking you a question.

Maybe you should stop eating so much cheese and eat more salad and whole grains. You clearly need to loosen up.
