NCAA Basketball Pool 2012
Alright, it's that time again--NCAA basketball pool time.
So, to join in the fun, I have once again created a private group at ESPN.com-->Fantasy Games-->Tournament Challenge for our little clique.
After you've created an entry*, search for the group
Lawtalkers
It's a private group. You need the following password to join:
YSBDetails
One entry each (i.e., per primary sock).**
The brackets are posted on the Sunday before the tournament. I think the entries are locked on Thursday morning before the first (real***) game. You can get the details at the ESPN site.
* Note that to maintain anonymity you should use/create an account that does not bear your real name. If you care, of course. The name on your account will appear in the standings (as does your "entry" name).
** That's one entry per "real" person, not one for each of your many socks.
*** It appears that ESPN rejects the play-in games as unnatural abominations and has excluded those from its bracket challenge.
Let's take a moment to congratulate again our past winners:
2011: Notcasesensitive
2010: Mr. Man
2009: Dressed to bill
2008: Mr. Man
2007: Mmmm, Burger (C.J.)
2006: Shape Shifter
2005: Alex de Large
2004: Evenodds/Greedy, Greedy, Greedy

Re: NCAA Basketball Pool 2012
BTW, that weird akg414 pick is Mr. Man. Ready for some madness!!
ETA: Didn't I win last year? There should be a record of who has won each year, like we have in the Death Pool...

I'll seen if I can compile it from last threads. I think I posted the winner each year.

I've got so much pink in my bracket already, it's a sure thing I won't be in the winner's circle this year.
But I bet Thurgreed is out celebrating, no matter what the Duke upset might have done to his bracket.

Slave went to Lehigh, and is in Vegas. I bet he has out-celebrated Thurgreed. In fact, he might be dead.

Adder (Kentucky) vs. Gattigap (Kansas) for the fist of glory.

still, I'm impressed by B&B. she and I both suffer from "home-team syndrome" which ultimately killed her, but beyond that weakness, she knew her shit. Me? I got nothing.

Yup, I thought BnB's picks were the most impressive overall. Sorry to the winners, but anybody can pick Kentucky, and most did.
At least I can say I have "next to nothing" instead of nothing at all.
