1- I do not see Atticus's post. Is it possible he's reverse ignored me?
2- I've said this on the parents board before*, but Dahl's autobios, "Boy" and "Flying Solo" are great books to read to your kid, if they are old enough to handle his novels. Very very dark, and funny.
*where I was voted, "most helpful."

It's possible I copied it from his Twitter feed. He's more interesting there, and rarely discusses bed-shitting.

Shape Shifter and Sidd are each inexplicably quoting a post from a Lawtalkers thread in February that I know you read because we discussed it in person. I'm proud the post was rediscovered though I have no idea why this one in particular has a second life. All my nuggets rise in value with age.

The 140 character limit is good for me, good for the readership, bad for bedshitting awareness.

I enjoyed the Cloisters but it seemed like it took an unreasonably long time to get there (perhaps because I started in Brooklyn**).
**Not born there but while I lived in that borough I never heard Manhattan called "The Island." Only Icky's 2 options: Manhattan or the City.

I never want to hear anything ever again about your nuggets and their age.
Unless the other option is to hear people debate whether Manhattan is called "the Island" or "the City," in which case, carry on about your nuggets.

He did a great interview with Colbert a couple of months before he died. Worth looking up on comedy central online.

Question
Just curious, should a lawyer, by let's say, his tenth or eleventh year of practice, know the meaning of "information and belief?"

The Cloisters are what people in the City think of when they hear Inwood. The Cloisters are a fine place to sit and contemplate your inevitable demise and take in the nuggets left by a dead civilization, but if you want to spend time in Inwood, go to the bars near the old rail yards or under the GW Bridge, grab lunch in one of the old german restaurants you can still find on Broadway, or go to the park and watch the kids play baseball - the Dominican influx has really schooled the old-timers on how the game is played.
It's a neighborhood, not really a tourist destination. Great place if you like the flavor of different neighborhoods, not really interesting if you're looking for entertainment.

Try working the word "nuggets" in, as in your last post. Those who know will understand, or vice versa.

Yes, but alleging something on the basis of "wishful thinking" doesn't really work.

in my practice a First year would know it, but then slowly forget. By 10 or 11 years in they would not have the first clue.

No it's just sticking the phrase in for shits and giggles where it doesn't apply because you have no idea what it means.
