Appealing Arizona bar exam score
I was just wondering if anyone on this board has ever filed an appeal of their Arizona bar exam score. How likely is it to get granted? I needed 410/600 to pass, but got a 407.5, so I hope that I can get the points I need and move on with life.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt you'll find anyone who's appealed in AZ (and I haven't appealed anywhere), but unless there is a simple, almost automatic appeal process, I wouldn't bother. Just take it again. It will be quicker and more painless. Even if there is an easy appeal process, initiate it and assume you're going to have to take it again so that you're not caught unprepared. It's unlikely you're going to hear back before February.
I know that in Maryland, tests that are close to the line are reviewed again before the results are published, which is nice, but also reduces the likelihood of a change of decision. I imagine most states are the same way.
Sorry.

Thanks a lot for replying.
I am indeed going on the assumption that they won't grant it, since doing so would involve them admitting they were wrong, which we all know lawyers are loath to do.
But, I just thought I would ask, in case there was actually some chance that I might be able to get it.

If you are that on the border, they very well may regrade and let you in. Can't hurt.

I am reporting this post to an adminstrator. this is really starting to look like you're sneaking up on a 30-fecta.

Nope, just trying to fill the void in the "most helpful" category, as your approach is driving the newberries away.
