Re: Stake planting

IP and in-house are the only boards with any activity to speak of. There is a little activity on the politics board--mostly from the IP and in-house folks.

On June 24, FindLaw announced "The all-new Greedy Associates message boards will launch on July 15! We are upgrading Greedy and giving it a new look, new functionality and a brand new home at FindLaw's Legal Professionals site."

Then on August 6, they announced "Yes, we are aware that July 15 has come and gone, and yet here you are, still posting on the same old Greedy boards. So what gives? The new Greedy Associates boards are still coming. Perhaps inevitably, we've been rethinking and tweaking a few things, but we are still committed to giving Greedy Associates a new home on a new and much-improved platform . . .."

Still no new boards, or else somebody forgot (!?) to tell the IP folks, and what activity there was has significantly declined since these announcements. So the fat lady is warming up in the wings in anticipation of FindLaw pulling the plug on the resources to keep the "Greedy Boards" up and running. Pure speculation, of course.

c'est la vie.

Re: Stake planting

P_T: is it a violation of terms to point the in-house and IP folks over here? I know it was tried in the past but was less than successful.

Maybe the locals would prefer the riff raff stayed away, but the IP board over there is mostly useful. Or at least interesting. Certainly not quite helpful, but maybe it is a goall we can set our sights on.

The only thing is, over here you have Hank, who tends to dumb down most boards he posts on. no offence.

True, but he has committed not to comment on IP issues.

And he has me on ignore.

So thinks are looking up!

Oops, sorry. Didn't mean to violate any terms over here. {grimacing and squinting real hard} I stand ready to accept my punishment. Spank me, spank me. {cocks open one eye slightly}

No, I meant the terms over there. Then I realized that you had already posted over there about the imminent death and my post here seemed untimely. And so the spiral of meaningless posts begins.

If we put some effort into our illcommunication we can move to all caps in a few posts and then end up invoking Godwin's law within 20 posts.

Quality content is overrated.

Those types of restrictions on speech here seem sort of Nazi-esque, nein?

Now that Penske is gone I bet I could get a 30-fecta, the holy grail for a nuisance sock. I wonder if rt would take away my mod-ship or just give me a warning.
