Ps. High school me also appreciated Mystic Seaport/Aquarium.

Isn't the Navy Submarine Museum close by, too? Pre-teen me (heck, Aging Me) would appreciate seeing the USS Nautilus and the other cool stuff they have there.
*I know - only tangentially relevant, but the damn song is in my head because of this thread, so there you go.

Groton - yes, nearby.
Certainly closer than the zoo in Providence (I can imagine Coltrane missing the wedding itself with that trip).

High school me appreciated “Mystic Pizza,” but that was because I spent the entire film expecting to see Julia Roberts’s tits.

Not Bob's Continuing Adventures on LinkedIn.
So, I was perusing the "you may know" list (or whatever they call it), and came across a familiar real name of someone I vaguely remember from the Infirm days, but can't recall the moniker.* Anyway, this person and I share about 10 connections, all from here, including Chef and Penske. So I send the connection request, along with a few others, and life goes on.
The next week, I get a message that someone has looked at my profile. It was the Infirm alum. The alum has not accepted my connection. I am wounded.
And it wasn't Flower, although I did just send him an invite. Confidential to Flower: Roberto Null is me.
Carry on.
*Yes, this happened once before. I still haven't placed who that person is in terms of Board history, but I'm ok with it.

It wasn't me; but I'm happy to link on in with anyone who might want to. PM me; I might stand Hank up, but I will accept your invite!

No, it wasn't anyone who currently posts. But, I just sent another batch out, and I'm pretty sure that a different Infirm alum (an ex of someone who does post here) just looked at my profile and hasn't yet accepted. Fucker. Compliment a coupled-chick's hairstyle once too often and one is shunned!
I'll PM you shortly. Thanks.

Pretty women out walking with gorillas down my street.*
Hey! The current poster's ex accepted the invite! Guess my leering** comments didn't bother him that much.
*I keed, as you all probably know. I don't think he was (at least as far as I know) a bad dude (or a gorilla, for that matter).
**Well, leering by my standards.

Uh oh. I didn't know people got these messages. Looks like I just pinned the creepy meter on a few work paralegals.

You only get notice if you pay to get the upgraded premium Linked In. And who does that except dweebish gunners, oh, and NotBob I guess, but I'm sure he has a very good reason?
