This is turning into a much more interesting cocktail party than the one's I go to. Usually, you show up, get handed some horrendous concoction, usually with gin, and then some dude sidles up to and starts talking about employment law, or how they went to the 26th best university in the country according to US news, or their aunt the actress.

Tell me where you are, I'm coming over with my Smith & Wesson.

Apropos of Adder, Not Bob did manage to get laid in college once while wearing a t-shirt bearing an image similar to the below, but it was during the Reagan Administration, so a white dude making any gesture of solidarity with the womyn had a shot at a certain category of co-eds at the square-state, land grant football factory school we attended. (I preferred Zetas and Tri-Delts, and found that coke was a much more effective icebreaker, but toe-may-toe, etc.)

My religion forbids killing people, but taxwonk's fb posts make clear that just means I shouldn't kill, I can't force my values on you. Still, WTTW, if you are going to wake up a murderer tomorrow, at least don't be hung over: drink bourbon or scotch, not gin drinks.

Be that as it may, it would be absolutely hilarious is Simmons did an expose on Goodell and ESPN's relationship. He could probably turn to TM for metaphors involving mutual fellatio while so far up each other's asses to illustrate most of each other's points.

And even that sucks compared to when your teams are not on ESPN, which inevitably gives up on covering the game to promote other crap.

That would be great. But could someone please put Chris Berman out of my fucking misery?

Hank, I was speaking metaphorically. You should know that I abhor violence. With literalists like you out there voting, we're going to end up with President Trump.

Look at this. If I'm not arguing about some stupid shit, what do we have to talk about over here?

You see the piece on 60 Minutes Sports on the Deflategate investigation and trial? You an Ty would definitely enjoy it.

You'll probably also have some fun with this: http://yourteamcheats.com/

However much I care about this issue, it is not enough to watch video about it. Or tonight's game, for that matter.

Am I the only person who loathes watching video on the internet? I like reading stuff, but not the video. I don't watch much TV, either, or many movies, so maybe I'm just not wired for video.

No. Generally because I don't want sound when I'm using the interwebs, whether that's for privacy reasons in my office (yes, that's a jab at your cube) or because someone else in the house is sleeping or whatever.

That said, I like youtube videos for learning how to do stuff, like fix a leaky faucet or true a bike wheel, but only when I'm specifically looking for something.

That's been around awhile, but they've helpfully updated it to use relevant legal standards on display in DeflateGate, such as "more probably than not" the Jets are elite cheaters.
