Speaking of the Skyway, I tried really hard to convince my friend from LA that he could pull off an acoustic version of "Tommy Gets His Tonsils Out." I failed, sadly.

I did not eat at the Skyway Wok, but Abba may remember that I told her that I was debating where to eat, thus lending some veracity to my denial that I was pretending not to see her. I had Indian at Ipolti instead. Brown rice with spinach dal and a veggie curry dish that I could neither pronounce nor spell.

Abba was wearing a fetching little summer dress. Vary flattering. I do not think my girlfriend is concerned about my fashion retention abilities.

The debate was mostly about whether the fact that the place spews enticing smells should offset the fact that there is nothing remotely healthy to eat there. Taking a peek confirmed that, so I moved on.

(Did you think I wouldn't take you literally out of spite?)

Is it still too cold in MN to actually risk exposing your skin to outside temperatures?

In the many years that the shibboleth "Whiff" and its many variations have been sprinkled (sometimes shoveled) into the conversations in this little corner of the interwebs, I am almost certainly mainly correct that a whiff the dimensions of which even approach this epic a magnitude has never been attempted, much less successfully accomplished.

Juan Meelyun congratulations, Hank. I'm getting verklempt.

I do not know Fugee, but I have twice seen PLF in the skyways, although both times in his office building.

Today it is raining. Yesterday it was a little chilly. One could have gone outside, but I did not. It's also allergy season, which tend to mean I stay inside at lunch.

Also, many/most of the lunch places are on the skyway level anyway.

A meta "whiff" -- nicely done.

So you found a girl who thinks really deep thoughts.

How weird must it be for Penguin fans to see Jagr wearing the dreaded pumpkin orange?

Good point. Almost as weird as me rooting for them to sweep the Pens.

Lessin Drakensberg, South Aftrica, more specifically here -

Second highest waterfall in the world and was at the top today (near 11,000 feet)
