Certainly the Board in its early(ish) days.
And I am mostly sure that I am mainly correct in my recollection that I told all y'all about the time that the Not Bobette told me that she was getting into "classic rock," and mentioned this album.
Sigh.

Spoilers regarding Citizen Kane, which led into a discussion re where one can still find Paul Masson Wine.
Also, I told a folksy Podunkville anecdote about the first time Fenwick saw that film, featuring appearances by Wanda, Big Ed, and the Harvard Law chick turned mechanic.

Take a letter, Maria.
A List Of Things I Meant To Post About But Haven't Gotten Around To Just Yet:
1. "The Hustlers at Scores" from New York Magazine. I think we discussed some aspects of this when the New York Post reported the initial arrests last year.
2. Pony's friend Lemmy died.
3. We signed up for Amazon Prime in order to watch Transparent (which is good, btw), but seeing season 1 of NYPD Blue is a revelation. David Caruso as John Kelly? Incredible. I want to get into a time machine and go punch him when he announced that he wanted to be a movie star instead. Asshole. Sherry Stringfield? Gorgeous, with great hair, and one of TV's top ten women's voices. And a nice reminder that to me, David Schwimmer was 4-B long before he was Ross.
Also Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I've never seen before. I'm liking it.
NB/m (dictated but not read)

So - Confession - is that the reason that you came?*
Also, I miss Sparklehorse.
Just wanted to say that out loud to someone other than my dog. If I mentioned it during Confession, Father Rivera (Catholic pro-tip - avoid confessing to the old Irish priests - unless they are a Franciscan - and the young Third World priests - no exceptions - because they are far too harsh) would think that "imaginary friend" was a euphemism for Not Marital Sex, and would tell me that using a condom was also a sin. Which would make me start singing "Every Sperm Is Sacred," and that would hurt his feelings.
So, there you have it. Carry on.
*A line from a great song, Cold Missouri Waters, about the Mann Gulch fire (which was the subject of Norman Maclean's Young Men and Fire). Here's Cold Missouri Waters as performed by Cry Cry Cry.

So...
I was trying to explain to a 3rd year associate last night who the "Greedies" were and why we were important in our heyday.
To which he responded, why didn't you guys just read "Above the Law"?

Huh? She wasn't on the page, maybe it was another than Yahoo? Some GA posted confidential financials on the board. She threatened a lawsuit, then the page was dead. She told us she had not threatened anyone, but when we left her secretary came with and confirmed it.

Re: Memo to the Minnesota Vikings
.....and Jeff Locke in particular....
Next season, I believe the field goal unit could profit from repeated viewings of Ace Ventura, Pet Detective.
