I don't see how we could leave Michigan behind. I mean, the state has both Detroit AND Ann Arbor. Wisconsin, too, but on the condition they run Walker out of town on a rail first.
However, I want to find a way to take Philly and Pittsburgh but leave the rest of Pennsylvania behind. Maybe add the rest to West Virginia?
Fundamentally, America's problem is an historical one, not one of recent vintage. We failed at reconstruction. We left the cancer there to grow.

You sound like Penske. And at this point, I'm with it. We can spend the money we constantly throw at all of those super red, rural states on healthcare, mental health issues, homelessness, public transportation, and education. They can cut taxes and watch their economies take off!

I'm perfectly fine in a country in which Michigan is the most conservative state.
Wisconsin is out, though.

Yes, but also before that. How different would thing be had we had the slavery fight at the Constitutional Convention?

I don't know about Pittsburgh - the only Steelers jerseys worn by fans are Roetlisberger (I'm not looking it up) and Heath Miller. What do those two guys have in common?

Whatever Michael Moore is, my boy he is not, but are you saying something against Traverse City here, 'cause Traverse City is fine by me.

Why the Wisconsin hate here? We can't leave a hole between Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota, or the territory becomes tougher to defend.

PA is a Commonwealth.
This is why it's a shithole. Every county is its own state. Impossible to do anything, endlessly corrupt.

Pittsburgh has the Google compound at Bakery Square and its surrounding tech development. That's the only piece of the commonwealth you need or want.
All of the rest should be put on a barge and sailed toward Antarctica.

Every been there? It’s one thing to eat a butter burger once because you’re on vacation. It’s a whole nother thing to do it a few times a week.

His film festival is there. TC was nice 20 years ago, but it is overwhelmed with people now. Go 40 miles north to Charlevoix, or 20 NW to Northport.
