How many former editors of the Harvard Law Review does it take to correctly swear in a President?
A. More than two.

What is your opinion of personal injury lawyers?
The bottom of the barrel. I don't like lawyers anyway, but the ambulance chasers are the worst. They will take a high percentage of your settlement.

Yes, but how do you reconcile your dislike of such high percentage grabs with the motives and ethic behind the greedy associate movement?

OK. So you can enact do-it-yourself tort reform.
If you or someone in your family is hurt real bad through someone else's fuck up don't sue.

For all the criticism of him, I believe that John Gotti refrained from suing when his son was run over on his bike and killed. role model?

None of us like lawyers. Yet none of us choose the alternative.

Query, quasi-true story, I once had neighbours who arguably created an actionable nuisance with their loud parties (and did not invite me) and wilde ways. As an alternative to suing, I shatted in a paper bag, put it on their doorstep, lit it on fire, rang their door bell and ran..........is this out of bounds as alternative dispute resolution?
Also, what is the SoL on such a "prank"? Would a letter of apology insulate me from legal action?
eta: this was before I was a member of any bar, except drinking bars.
