You know it was literally true, and thus not boastful, right?

They had all of that too.

The isolationism is the problem. It's just a fact that we live in a multilateral world where we have deep and complex relationships with other countries, with trade, immigration, education, arts, and everything else going both way. If you decide to try to isolate yourself from that, you lose on all sides.
Worse, you make no effort to understand it and base your decisions on intuition and/or Fox and Friends.

This bill is really retarded.
Not my area, but aren't there other rules that make this difficult? To maybe it's just payor contracts.

Add to that mandatory $1 million liability insurance for every gun and you have to register every one at the DMV.
Everyone else also doesn't waste nearly as much on elective wars and defense department pork.

Seems to me that it was both true and boastful.

Yeah, an remove the "Sanders Shield" on liability for gun manufacturers.

Gas in the US is like Bread in Roman days. It's usually the last thing that gets taxed. I'd put a priority on taxing the billionaire class that just ripped us off in the tax scam bill - get rid of the distinction between cap gains and ordinary income, which never made sense and which Bill Clinton was able to do in his day, put in a $1M plus surtax, etc. etc.

Some insurers’ reimbursement policies make it difficult. But as to general supplies, which form the bulk of purchases, and as to all elective and private pay procedures, I haven’t found any obstacles.

I don’t see how guidance prevents it, either. Deference doesn’t allow an agency to violate the black letter, and the black letter here seems to be designed to allow these moves.

Thank you. I was wondering how those were mutually exclusive.

If you’re boasting and it’s untrue, it’s more bullshit than boast, no?

I thought he was saying it defensively, getting Vlad’s back. But my recollection of the context could be wrong.

I agree isolationism is generally bad, but if there’s any silver lining at all to it, it would be focusing on fixing the rot at home (infrastructure being primary importance). Of course, that probably won’t happen either, so my point is entirely academic.

Heh, heh. "Infrastructure". The ultimate Trump con.

As long aslone party is defined by graft for its donor class, we can't to blindingly obvious stuff like infrastructure.

Can't tax em enough to matter unless you take it all.

It's good to set our expectations low.

Survival is increasingly seeming like a high expectation. Now it appears that we may die because Trump as a tiny penis. Fucking brilliant.
