Indeed. That's what I meant by "to a degree." It's just hard to get back to exactly how you would have been if you didn't have kids (or so I have heard). My friend whose sixpack returned in a month after giving birth was telling me the other day that her body will never be the same as it was before -- giving birth just fundamentally changed it.

So I am just going on what I have heard -- it never goes completely back, and that does not seem fair.
