Let me preface this comment by saying that I think Pride Days/Weekends are a great thing, and that without the organizers who've been running them for 15 years, this continent would be a far less tolerant place, and we probably wouldn't get quality programming like Queer Eye (I'm now TiVo caught up, and I couldn't be happier).
But what's the deal with every city having Pride Day on a different weekend. It feels like a bit of a cheat to me. Is it the same 100,000 people going from city to city all summer long? I'd be much more impressed if they all happened on the same day. Is there a hardcore batch of Pride Day-ites? Is each city's Pride Day comprised mostly of locals, or ringers? Not that any of this matters, but it's just something that crossed my mind this summer.
