However, moderators are required not to use their moderator abilities in anything but a neutral fashion, and if it is possible that there can be some confusion as to whether they are speaking as a moderator or speaking as a regular poster, they need to make clear which they are doing. Alex however is not a moderator on this particular board, he is a moderator on Mid-Atlantic and Fitness. So on the fashionista board he is no different from any other poster. And if he wants to have a good, old fashioned flame war on this board, it is none of my concern. That said, if I find a moderator is a constant problem on any board, I would have to think seriously about whether to keep said person a moderator. Alex however has not done anything to give me pause in my decision to make him a moderator on the boards he mods. It is true you cannot ignore mods though, regardless of the board on which they are participating. |

I'd reply, but I have a problem with explaining my appearance to a man. S(I am not touchy about ugliness - I'm the cat who gets screamed at for being too harsh about women's bodies... I AM touchy about you twisting posts, as you've done once again here)D |

Its not like women of her generation had too many options. Sure some of them got PhDs, but in her day, if you had a pretty face and perky C-cup breasts, you didn't get a PhD you got married. There was pressure on the women of her generation to get married and have kids and stay at home and raise them. She wasn't the type to buck the tide. Found herself the best sperm donor she could. Quite frankly, I thank her for it. Money may not make you happy, but it sure does make life easier. |
