someone told me you had a tour of campus when you were looking at schoold, I mean no one thought there was a chance you'd get in, but they have to treat every applicant equally. you have to admit the subway is close.

Indeed. I went to lunch with my old firm administrator today. Everything is still as miserable as when I left, except the staff gets to use my bidet, so they are cleaner and more fresh smelling now.

Do you keep calling and emailing her every five minutes just so she can remind you on a regular basis about how miserable things are?

I like that two of the firms I was with prior that i was miserable at went down HARD in fucking flames.

One manager at one of the firms was my arch nemisis, and after she talked so much smack about how great her fiancee [making it clear her guy was superior to ours or any other] was they divorced [her second divorce] which was a pisser.

and i pulled out my 401K before one went into total and utter fail. like 5 mos prior.

and I didn't lose money in the stock market crash.

and the cleaning lady that I felt was gossipy was transferred off the floor and I didn't even complain someone else did.

and the woman I brawled with consistently was RIF'd. another tool was fired outright.

actually, even though she was my office wife and there were rampant rumours of a torrid interoffice affair, no. The first time we communicated in 2 months was last week. Via text. Setting lunch today.

I have mostly mainly divorced myself from the misery, although I miss my bidet.......

I liked "Enemy of the State." That's one of those movies that hits cable a few thousand times a year and I manage to cathc it at least every couple of months.
