Sorry, but this one-two punch is old news. The only thing it highlights is the low bar to working as a reporter these days.

Neal Katyal is not a reporter. He's a former acting Solicitor General and the guy who wrote the current version of the special counsel regs.

And you're reading Mueller wrong. When he said it would be inappropriate to accuse someone of a crime that he can't indict, he's saying he would have indicted him but for the OLC opinion.

I loved Hillary for it.

Perhaps after three years of seeing the alternative, people will find someone who is thoughtful and knowledgeable appealing.

She has a grasp of finance and banking most of the rest of the people in the Democratic Candidate Clown Car couldn't hope to even approach.

Of the candidates with a shot, who in that car do you think is a clown?

Yes, not really a surprise that your expressed views are largely situational.

I think Republicans understand better than Democrats that the President doesn't need to be the Policy Wonk In Chief. She can also hire good policy wonks.

I only see Biden, Harris, and Warren with shots. I don’t think any of them are clowns.

Warren is going to emerge as stronger candidate as issues become more important.

And what makes Warren so unelectable? Wall St. being against her? That may ultimately aid more than harm. She’s warm, clear, and she’s super smart. I don’t understand why she’s discounted.

Warren gets policy, true, but she’s also an excellent communicator. I do not understand the argument that something about her personality is disqualifying.

Harris is a stuffed suit. Pure lawyer/politician with no business experience. But that sort of bore and cookie cutter politician may be what voters want after Trump. And she is serious. She’s playing a long game. Made some mistakes, but she’s telecasting that she’s safe, which shows good strategy skills.

Best of bunch is Buttigieg. Guy is both politically savvy and smart on issues (except green new deal... but I think he’s just bs’ing there... knows it’s DOA, so supporting it in run up to primaries is a cant lose). But he can’t get elected because he’s too young and inexperienced, and he’s gay.

I used clown not so much as insult as to easily describe what ought to have a handful of passengers instead holding over 20. It’s lazy, but so am I.

Why is Warren uncharismatic? She’s more charismatic than most of the rest of the field. Biden? Harris? Klobuchar? Swalwell? Who’s the charismatic person in this field who’s electable?

I think she could go toe to toe with Bernie in terms of charisma.

You know, some people got no choice
And they can never find a voice
To talk with that they can even call their own
So the first thing that they see
That allows them the right to be
Why they follow it
You know, it's called... bad luck!
