Minnesotans are gullible
I routinely fall for the pranks my next door neighbor pulls on me, but even though I am too gullible, I figure things out before too long.
This family may be the ultimate gullible saps. Hit men hired by Wal-Mart? I've heard they take a scorched earth approach to litigation but that would be going too far even for Wally World. http://www.startribune.com/local/989...tml?page=1&c=y |

"New York is funny, though not as funny as it thinks it is. The South is funny, despite Jeff Foxworthy. (Rednecks and racism? That covers about half the history of comedy right there.) I'll bet Phoenix is funny, but I hope I never find out. But you know what's not funny? San Francisco. Talking earnestly about couples yoga or sustainable resource management just isn't funny. It is true that gay men are funny. But San Francisco, in its character, is more of a lesbian. And whatever Rosie says, lesbians aren't funny. They're mad, and they want to be listened to. And you know who's a bigger lesbian than San Francisco? You know what you'd get if you took San Francisco and squeezed out the residue of humor? Seattle. It's rainy and progressive and almost kind of European. It's Norway on the Pacific. Norwegians should design wind farms and plan the health care system, but they may not roast people at the Friars Club. Seattle is famous for "fringe" theatre and "artisanal" coffee roasters, and if there's a better way to make something not funny than to put the words "fringe" and "artisanal" in front of it, I don't know what it is. Seattle might be a great city for a WTO demonstration, but going out for beers afterward would be sadder than the tear gas. Seattle, you can babysit our kids, you can help us start our compost program, but please, please don't come up to us at happy hour. We're just trying to have a good time." |
Car
Because no one cares - I leased a Horizon blue Mini with black roof, which is still on the boat, something like this;

Question
Is there a way to upoad a photo from your desktop here?

Apparently
Ironweed's stand your round rule does not apply to 20 year old German girls that invite you to join their table.
When three of them are hot and you are sufficiently lecherous, you do not care. |
Hmmmm.

Did we make it all the way through with no comment? Gotta be a first.

OTTH, while I do not think he should be stripped of his medals or titles or whatever the Tour gives its winners, I look forward to seeing Lance getting spanked in the continuing investigation. Does anyone still think he was clean? |

In related news, this week is the peak of my trainer's, er, training for Leadville and he has vowed to kill us all in the time trial spin class tonight. I may not be around tomorrow. |
