You lie! It was an essay contest on what the moral compass of a modern day lawyer should be in an idealistic moral world. Like where Ty lives.

Motorized Lazy Boy recliner DWI

Lester's hero, the guy from Northern Minnesota who got a DWI in his motorized Lazy Boy, should consider making more chairs as a part-time gig.

His chair -- confiscated by the police -- is going for big bucks on ebay.

Bay Bridge Fix

I'm not sure where to put this, but I found this essay (with pics) examining the Bay Bridge fix interesting - http://www.sci-experiments.com/Broke...kenBridge.html

That's FOUR zeroes

For all you fans of the Buffyverse, et al: Joss Whedon makes a very generous offer to buy the rights to the Terminator franchise. And maybe Lord of the Rings too. And Batman.

michael jackson

I think Manfred and Thurgreed were having the argument about MJ's talent vs. what Quincy Jones added-

today I heard some things from a new CD that includes the "base songs" that Michael brought to begin work. it was MJ doing vocals of the instruments, think beat box kind of thing. Beat It already sounded like it did in the end, same with Starting something.

Surprise, surprise -- "dog advocates" think the public hasn't heard the full Michael Vick story.
