OTOH, Sebby, I thought of you and your stance on nudity. Lots of boobies out at Flipside this year. Most of them looked pretty outstanding.

Like information, they yearn to be free. It is the Lord's will, and we flout it to his great anger. (Or at least mine.)

I am upset the headline caused me to visualize them as a couple, intimately. Could there be a more vanilla, utterly unsexual pair?*

*Bush and his wife don't count. They're neutered. It's a family ritual when a Bush turns 45.

I heard Kid Rock's "Cowboy" on the radio the other day and noticed the lyric "I'm going to paint his white white" had been changed to "I'm going to paint his wife 'Radio Edit.'" Assuming that cheeseball didn't edit his own song to be clever, I have to wonder, how does a non-profane allusion/double entendre warrant an edit? If I said "I'm going to paint your wife white" on a TV show, would that get bleeped?

We all have a price. My wife is starting to ask questions about the recurring monthly Visa charge to "paigow." My "I have an Internet gambling addiction" cover story is starting to wear thin.

In other future news, credit card defaults and overcharges in excess of 10% of card limit spiked to an unheard of 60% and 77% in the first quarter of 2014.

I'm sad when a couple that's been together that long falls apart.

Anyone else following this?

Attorney and law student enter into email exchange about his possible employment (another version of exchange here) with her. Things get testy and he ends up saying "It's amazing that the Ma Bar lets women practice law. Shouldn't you be home cleaning and raising children?"

Lawyer posts the e-mail exchange on a Lawyers Weekly forum, omitting names. Law student posts lawyer's name on craigslist responding to her help wanted ad, exposing himself to as the idiot behind the e-mails.

Above the Law picked it up, as did another legal blog. Law student, pissed off about this being picked up by others, puts Above the Law blogger's name, number and e-mail on the craigslist Casual Encounters section, and advertised the author of the other blog as being available for nude modeling.

The student has also declared himself done with the legal profession, at least in Massachusetts. And at some point during this whole bruhaha, there was a youtube video that has apparently been since taken down. There's a description of the video in the above link.

Madness like this will continue for as long as there are uncles, aunts, and grandparents that tell children "You'd make a great lawyer!" in response to dickish anti-social behaviors.

Is that a statement of intention or a recognition of fact?

I enjoyed his references to "Attorney Clayton." I suspect he may have a bright future as "Pavemaster Clark."

Yeah, but the other 5% is spent pretending to be one of them, which is sort of a compliment.
