I love journalism. We've really got nothing on anyone trying to silence her, so let's throw in the story of a car accident so our more conspiratorially-minded readers can conclude her bosses staged it to silence her. Responsible. |

You may have forgotten it as it was often drowned out by the "Dems are all traitors and they love mass murderers!!!!" Plus, of course, the requisite "Dems lack civility in discussing politics." Hank is sort of a smarter, gentler Bilmore. This is faint praise. I miss Bilmore the same way I miss the bedsores and crotch-rash I had when I was hospitalized after a car accident. |

Senate will be R. Our only hope is that Obama will somehow win, despite the current horrible polls. |

But as much as I'd hate total GOP control, it might be better than continued gridlock. It might be the only thing that can put an end to the GOP seeing stifling the economy as a political strategy. But Romney's already promised to blow the budget up with fiscal stimulus in the form of tax cuts and defense spending, and a GOP executive cause most of the hard money talk from that party to vanish into thin air, thus creating room for the Fed to move too. It's the wrong way to do it, but it might be better than nothing. |
