I think Burger's from DC, and he moderates that board. I am from Chicago. As for why you mix us up, maybe Burger has a better handle on that, but we do seem to have a similar sense of humor...

Relationship Mistakes

This is the same reason I stayed with the pscyho redhead from Hell for so long (on and off and on and off and on and off for a couple of years). Well, not quite the same reason -- the sex with her was far better than merely good.

That, and I loved her kid, and I felt bad for her -- she was abused by most men and many women throughout her life, including father, mother, various exes, etc. Sadly, she took this out on the only guys who were decent to her (me and another ex). Eventually, I got tired of screaming fights every night and the occasional physical assault.

She was also a heroin addict, although clean as far as I could tell (she smoked, never shot it). I think she cleaned up when she got pregnant, but there were some people still in her life from those days, including a fairly violent ex-husband.

When I started seeing the now Mrs. Finch, the psycho-ex tried to disrupt it by trying to hook up with me again.

Don't worry. With posts like these, you'll always be the lamest poster, no matter who has the highest post count.

I am so over Ted. I release him back into the mancrush marketplace. He's not really gay, he's just a big dork. I mean, are you fucking kidding me? "Push the lobster meat out of the shell"? "Here's how you use a kitchen torch to glaze a ramekin of creme brulee, which I already made for you off camera"? Fucking useless. Of course, the SG was so retarded he still couldn't do it right. That guy was like Shrek or something.

Kyan's star is rising. He's so pretty he should be dumb, but he's actually quite funny. Not Carson funny, but probably the second funniest guy on the show, and way ahead of the pack in the looks department once you take Jai out of the running for being a chick.

Carson sucked last night. With each passing show, he's dressing people more like himself, which isn't a good thing.

The special place in my heart is now reserved for Thom, though. His makeovers are by far the most dramatic. Kyan just takes the SG to whatever Salon has paid Bravo for the product placement and says, "Here's an idea --- let's shape your eyebrows." Thom actually dives into a hellhole and transforms it. I think I'll name a son Thom and make him spell it that way. That said, last night's rooms were disappointing. How much gayness does it take to drop $3,500 bucks on a single phone call to West Elm? I'll answer that: not a whole lot of gayness.

But I'm Feeling Much Better Now

Hi gang. I've been away for a while. Any interesting discussion of anal sex in my absence?

I'm only responding to mention that a few months ago I bought the modular coffee tables from West Elm and I'm very happy with them. There are a few other things in that catalogue that I have my eye on, and I wish their website were more developed.

I like Kyan and think he's good at what he does, but I don't think he's really gay. If he were, he would know that his head is too big for his body and therefore he should not wear such tiny clothes.

I think he lied about being gay to get the gig, and wearing low slung pants and saying "product" instead of "products" is part of the act.

And Atticus, I think you need to have more sex with your wife, and pay less attention to the guys on this show.

S'OK, Paigow. One day maybe you'll get to date a coke addict.

Cat Person/Rebound Guy. Disaster and should've been mere coffee pals. Later, in sincere effort to make friends with cat, bought it organic (super-potent, apparently) catnip that instantly turned mellow Fluffy into a psychotic self-destructive violent crack whore who shredded the entire freaking dorm with its claws and then disappeared on drug binge for several days.

Wish him well wherever he is though, and hope Fluffy got into detox okay.

I like Ted, but, like Jai, they sure don't give him much to do. And having Kyan explaining to people how to shave is going to grow old. Thom is the star, clearly, although the annoying camerawork they use when they compare the old and new can make it hard to grasp all that they've done.

I love West Elm. But I cannot imagine actually living with stuff so low. Anyone have the sofas or chairs?

Alas Kyan IS gay. The only thing that makes his gayness more palatable to me is the fact that he would be way out of league anyway if he was straight. He is gay and he had a crush on the male stripper they had on the show.

I agree with Atticus that Thom has done a great job with the rooms. I liked the West Elm stuff, but agree that it was more of a phone in this week. But for my Kyan-crush, Thom is my favorite. But Carson will be the star b/c he is laugh-out-loud funny.

[I got Al Franken's permission to use "funny"]
