the real mystery was how they got a login so that the ignore lists carry over, but you're right, he's have access to all that- all these years we blamed penske, and it turns out penske probably isn't even responsible for penske posts.

Wikipedia has a lot of dry entries, but none so deadpan as this:

Quote:

Pussy Galore is a fictional character from the James Bond film and novel Goldfinger. In the film, she is played by Honor Blackman. As with many of Ian Fleming's creations, the name is a double entendre; in this case with respect to "pussy", which is another word for cat, or is a slang term for vulva while galore means an abundant or plentiful supply of something.

Travel n stuff

Of the places you listed:

1. Rome, whether aside. Old stuff for romance. Good food is cheaper than Paris. You lots of squares to wander a d enjoy the beauty. Downside is that it is hot as hell in august.

2. Paris. I think you said you have been, so I don't have that much to add. I have been a half dozen times or so, and love jt enough to go back. But then there are Parisians and, in my Midwestern parochial view, it is really expensive to eat okay. I think it is best with a guide that knows it well, buthe seine in the moo light is total romance.

3. London. Maybe short onthe romance (although try walking by the Thames at night) but will be less hot, and no shortage of things to do. But I have spent the most aggregate time in London and like pubs, so ymmv.

4. Madrid. I have only spent a few days there, mostly for work, but it seemed beautiful. Way hot though, and may e not much more romantic than London.

5. Milan. Never been, but have heard good things about it as a cosmopolitan city. Not sure about romance, but I even know people there and have never fel the need to go. Good fashion though probably.

6. Zurich. Never been, but where I have been in switzrland has left me thinking that there isn't much there that you can't get in Austria for 20% off. Expesive, but probably beautiful clean and pristine. Personally that does equate to romance, but i'm sure it is lovely for a weekend.

If you are willing to do an easy connection, hank's suggestion of Vienna is a good one. Great combination of elegance and art with a little less pretension. Beautiful city. Good Romance I the old town at night.

But when you are going, I might pick munich instead. The walking street in the summer is a lot of fun, with all types of street performers (ranging from good violinists to bad mymes) and a lilot of energy at night. There are good at museums, nice parks and, of course, good beer.

I post these lyrics once every two years or so:

And for no real reason, other than there are a lot of closet Feat fans on here.

Seems apropos today, for some reason:

___

I've been warped by the rain, driven by the snow
I'm drunk and dirty don't you know, and I'm still
Oh, I'm still Willin'
Out on the road late at night, I seen my pretty Alice in every head light. Alice, Dallas Alice

Well I've been from Tuscon to Tucumcari
Tehachapi, to Tomapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Now i've driven the back roads, so I wouldn't get weighed

And...so... if you give me weed, whites and wine
and show me a sign
I'll be Willin'
to be movin'

And I've been kicked by the wind, robbed by the sleet
Had my head stoved in and I'm still on my feet
And I'm still, I'm Willin'

Now I smuggled some smokes and folks from Mexico
Baked by the sun, every time I go to Mexico, and I'm Willin',
And I been from Tuscon to Tucumacari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed

So...if you give me....weed, whites and wine
and show me a sign
I'll be willin' to be movin'

____

PS - Note to self: Despite the lack of weed, whites and wine, Catrin still got me to move, so maybe you should change this song.

PPS - No, Sebby, she didnt have a turban or a tree either.

I have been to Munich and Salzberg when it's been hot, and the discomfort is exacerbated by the fact that a European would apparently rather die than serve a drink over ice. I've never been to Miami F-L-A so I'm not sure "Munich hot" would even register to someone from there. Me, personally, it was 77 today and I wilted.

I've got a cousin in Tehachapi. Her husband is the only guy I know who's right of you. He's a prison guard.

BTW, whites I can understand but any lack of weed or wine in your life is on you.

My mail guy was from Tucumcari. He's right of you, too.

My dearest Catrin is as clean as the whitest and purest snow of the Sierras. She keeps a fine house, FWIW.

With regard to weed and wine, what you South Bay freaks do on your own time is quite scary.
