This joke makes no sense.

I was just trying to be one of the guys; you didn't have to be mean.

Methinks you confuse the mobile operating system with a particular phone that uses that system. But I agree the best choice for you is probably an iphone. User friendly, ubiquitous, does what you need it to do.

I have heard the same complaints from a number of android users, including Coltrane. But you may be right.

On the other hand, the only things I do with my phone are making and receiving calls, checking my bank balance on occasion, and of course surfing for porn in public.

Whoa, shit. Despite the circumstances screaming for the opportunity, you wrote that sounding sincere, without indulging in any snark or condescension. You sure you're okay?

need some data- I'm doing a story about first class on a train, the train in question had 1st right behind the engine. I would like to say that is always true, but it seems like the east coast route of Amtrak has it the last car in one direction and right behind the engine in the other direction (that is North/South).

But what about other routes, generally? Anyone with insight let me know.

Has anyone here ever used the NFC capabilities on a smartphone?

New Yorker, please. There's no judgment in calling someone woo-woo. We're California Episcopalian -- that's the crunchiest denomination that's still trinitarian. We make your yoga studio look like snake handlers. We're like the fucking Woo Tang Clan.

And my whole point was that Western medicine rocks at trauma medicine. If you took that to mean I thought Eastern medicine sucked at all medicine, I wouldn't have needed the adjective, would I?

I am woo-woo friends with some of you but by no means all. Some of you are too woo woo for me, and some of you I just wouldn't woo for.

I am a huge fan of accupuncture in particular, but, as to the trauma stuff that has gone on in this town this week, I would just say, BAHSTEN RAWKS!

But your original question was what hemisphere you'd rather get trauma care in, and I have to say, if the choice in this Hemisphere was in rural Mississippi and in the other hemisphere was a medical center in Shanghai, I choose Shanghai.

I have, it's pretty cool, but not like it's everywhere.

If I recall, the train from Anchorage to Seward, it was in the middle.
