This crassness-substituted-for-wit PLF post is a special holiday tribute the The Paigow. <sniff>
Paigow would never use the word cunnilingus, and if she did, she would spell it wrong.

I think the stomach is weird. I would not do Marisa. So there, "str8."*

*and I put the punctuation inside the quote marks -- take that, Canadian!

She has crackers?

"Cuomo is also pursuing a degree in English literature from Harvard University, for which he has one semester left."

Mystery solved.

ETA: If he starts titling songs things like "William T. Vollmann Stole My Acura," expect the dry spell to continue past graduation.

The post was not a tribute in the sense of "The Paigow would have posted this." I thought that was obvious. This little incident perhaps explains why I am the Most Misunderstood Poster Ever.*

Indeed.

I join in your holiday tribute to La Paigow. However, I prefer to think that she would have been stunned at the existence of something like the white elephant gift exchange (which is, AoN, very popular here in Podunkville).

Once she got past that, I like to think that she would be too focused on the interesting fact that a prole-ish tradition like the white elephant gift exchange would be called something with "Yankee" in the title to assert that you are past your sell-by date.

More importantly, Paigow would have spelled "cunnilingus" correctly. She always spelled big words correctly, it was the shorter, more common words that would trip her up.

Fringey was not a student of P's game, obviously.

Things with "Yankee" in the title are usually classy, like Yankee Candle and that movie about Geo. M. Cohan.

There is a baseball team that is an exception to you general rule.

I recall how nothing would get The Paigow's hackles raised like calling the Civil War "The War of Northern Aggression." She knew I just did it to tease her, but it still got her going every time.

Really? I am not familiar with that team. And where is your pal Ironweed today?

<sniff> indeed. I remember how she liked to call it "The War That Allowed The Blacks to Get Tables Near Me in Restaurants and Talk Too Loud And Make Inappropriate Comments about My Ass When I Go to the Restroom." She always wondered why that didn't catch on like her spinster schtick. She felt insluted by the snub, but I found it too cumbersome, even when abbreviated to TWTATBTGTNMIRATTLAMICAMAWIGTTR.

She has a ridiculous stomach, but it looks weird there. I like it better here, but maybe it's a subconscious desire to see Tyra's body at her best:

If I were to guess, I would say it's a gift exchange involving the "regifting" of unwanted items.

Everybody brings a wrapped gift (often, "classy") and puts it under the tree. Everyone pulls a number from a hat to determine order. The first person picks a gift and unwraps it. Each subsequent person can either choose the gift someone before them received - sending the other person back to the tree - or choosing a package from under the tree themselves.

Obviously, higher numbers are better.

For a tradition surrounding a holiday of peace and goodwill, it can be very cutthroat.
