Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Frylock, Meatwad, and Shake?

That sounds more like a flame of NCS...

It's a CR-V by the way. The low headroom on the Civic seems to have rubbed all the hair off the top of my head.

Okay. Is Frylock pedantic? not pedantic? Is this show worth missing The Daily Show to watch? These are among my lingering questions...

Well you know, normally they are in caves or in the forest or something. So it is hard to say. But I bet the gay demons have wonderful decorating sense, as they must. If there are any gay demons.

ATHF is fun, but it never rises to the level of its fantastic theme song by Schoolly D.
But to tie it in to fashion, you can get ATHF t-shirts at Hot Topic. I think Sealab and Space Ghost shirts are also available.

Best thing I saw on TV this weekend was on VH1. It was called something like "Sesame Street Music from A-Z." They showed their best clips of bands/musicians appearing on Sesame Street. My absolute favorite was R.E.M. doing "Furry Happy Monsters," with a little girl puppet lip-synching the backing female vocal. Genius. Also great was the Spin Doctors doing "Two Princes," about two boy monsters, each of whom wanted to have a playdate with a girl monster. Hilarious. The lead singer of the band recounted how he told Telly: "this is amazing, I've never worked with puppets before," and how Telly leaned in close and said: "Neither have I!" That show must be so much fun to work on.

It's 15 minutes long on Sunday night. Set Mr. Man's tivo and enjoy minutes of hilarity.

Goddamn it, I tried to download that REM performance off the web for weeks! (In full compliance with copyright law, of course.)

Strongly recommended rocker-doing-kids'-song (not sure if it was ever on the Muppets): Little Richard version of Itsy Bitsy Spider. Wooooooooooo-hooooooo!

Ok, if they're duvet covers , then what exactly is the duvet itself?

Or is it redundant? Do duvets cover the comforter, or do duvet covers cover the duvet?

I normally don't tangle with people with admin powers, but you're insane. "Harvey Birdman" suffers from Beavis & Butt-Head syndrome: one laugh every fifteen minutes. (And B&B had the benefit of being a half-hour show, providing exactly two laughs.) The episode where Apache Chief spills coffee on his groin and loses the superpower of growing to giant-size doubled the laugh rate to two, but this was mostly because Apache Chief ROCKS the Superfriends.

The redeeming thing about HB is the theme song. When leaving for the office in the morning, I find myself singing, "Whooooo. . . is the man in the suit? Whooooo . . . is the cat with the beeeeeeeaaaak?" On the whole, however, HB will go down in history as the least funny thing Stephen Colbert has ever touched --- and that includes "Crank Yankers."

Duvet covers cover the duvet. Not redundant. The duvet is the comforter-like thing (actually I was taught that a duvet was just a french word for what we called a "continental quilt" - the continent being Europe - and what you call a comforter). The duvet cover is like 2 sheets sewn together that goes over the duvet. You wash the duvet cover but you have to have the duvet dry cleaned.

A duvet is the comforter --- a soft quilted bedcover filled with eiderdown. The duvet cover is the zippered or buttoned sheet, removable for washing, into which the duvet is stuffed.

Edited to add: What she said.

Doctor Slang

I was saddened to learn that "CTD" is slang for someone who is about to die (i.e. Circling The Drain).

Duvet

I would add that it is nearly impossible to keep a duvet straight within the cover, even with duvet clips, unless you are capable of not moving while you sleep.
