No, but I do my own bedding. Even though they would do it. Partly because I feel the need to use the steamer de-wrinkler on the shams so that the look nice, partly they might put the duvet in crooked or something similarly horrifying, and partly because I'm a freak.

And I think my posts on this topic and the plants are boringer than GWNC's post on duvet vs. comforter, but probably not even close to my boringest posts ever.

Kinda like cacti - but no nasty needles. Most plants with thick fleshy leaves - aloe, ice plant, etc. They don't need frequent watering and some flower. I have some outside - they like light - not so good for the office.

I'm sure there are better ones - that was just from a quickie search and I have seen some realyl decent fake ones around. Orchids don't grow in "dirt" they grow in rocks and moss and stuff. I have one (not plastic) in my bathroom with no dirt - it is in a jar-like thing and the roots are just hanging free - the things grow up on top of trees in the wild, so they are not used to dirt. Oh - and the real ones don't like too much water - once every 2 weeks is probably fine.

psst..... turn your duvet cover inside out, set the seam of the cover along the edge of the duvet/comforter, grab the two corners and flip the inside out cover over the duvet. TADA! And if short wingspan is an issue you can double over the duvet and cover once you have the inside out seam on the end and then flip. Have a few beers and if anyone touches the bed with the fresh cover on it you should fuck them up royally. ;)

Speaking of T-shirts, I was at an Urban Outfitters while out of town on a depostion (uh, one of the boring kind of depos, I'm afraid) (plus, it's not as if I'd share the details of my torrid adultery with all of you people if it was really a "depo") (unless it involved eyeball licking or other purity-score lowering activities), and they have quite the selection of T-shirts circa 1979. The "gas, grass, or ass -- nobody rides for free" was tempting, but I settled for a Bad Company shirt (the one with the cannabis-leaf logo, natch).

Never said it was right, just that it works and, at least for me, is easier than any other way I have tried in the past 20 or so years.

And, um, how can there be a "wrong" way to put on a duvet cover so long as the duvet ends up covered and not crooked? Don't tell me that there is a rule book for this shit as well.

No offense taken. Of course, it is funny that my "wrong" way works and everyone else seems to be struggling to cover their duvets while I am already done and watching the game with a few beers under my belt. :D
