If you're going to pay for stuff with your phones, Verizon wants a piece of that action. They're going to provide the same excellent customer service that you expect from your cable company (I bought a bundle from AT&T, which means that the intermittent outages we're experiencing right now cripple our TV, internet and home phone all at the same time).

Verizon just wants to migrate you to the next big platform.

For the right problem, chiropractors can't be beat. If you are out of alignment, you can have back pain, leg pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and even foot pain. At one point, I was so out of alignment that my pelvis was tilted and one leg was effectively shorter than the other. If you don't get put back into alignment, your muscles start to conform and pull in directions they shouldn't. I walked in to the chiropractor back in my 20s not being able to bend more than 6 inches and left with full range of motion and no pain at all.

But the people who think adjustments fix everything are fucking nuts.

I'm not sure if this is because I'm from NYC or black (or both), but what the fuck in god's good name are you guys talking about?

I took "woo-woo" to be like a SF alternative med/religion granola crunching nut job reference. Trust me, I speak Atticus.

That's not entirely fair. They're all pretty good at sending bills.

God, I love soup dumplings.

On the other hand, I suspect one dumpling in NYC costs about the same as the whole meal in Shanghai.

I'm betting the universe of black NYC woo woos is small. Really sort of a SF thing, with a small colony here in Cambridge.

We had amazing food there too. The fancy (for us hotel food) is like fancy here, and quite safe. 2 of us got food poisoning though at a restaurant that seemed more a nice little neighborhood place, and a few other places we walked in were quite dicey. I think the restaurants the people eat in are not places we would find safe to eat at.

If you happen to be in Houston and crave soup dumplings, Fufu Cafe in Chinatown is outstanding.

Thanks to you guys, I'm going tonight. Jesus those things are good.

Joe's Shanghai sucks. Din Tai Fung (which is a chain) is where I had them in Hong Kong and they are fantastic. We discovered they have locations in California as well and if they are anywhere near as good as the Kowloon location, I am extremely jealous of anyone within 20 miles of that location.

And they have all different types of flavors, including a fancy truffle type, which was very good, but not as good as the traditional variety.

If you had a meal in Hong Kong that was anything other than those crispy pork rice flour bread sandwiches (that I have never seen anywhere else), you have no taste buds.

Did you like Jumbo?

I had quite a few meals in HK. Can't say that was one of them.
