 | Based on my understanding of assessments of intelligence, unfortunately many of the teachers I encounter, in my opinion, are of average or near average intelligence. This includes public and private school teachers. As far as my car, not sure, but I am under a GM warranty (until I get my ferrari) so its almost certainly a caveat emptor situation to start with.

Second, since you pose IQ as a measure, the average SATs for the first school she attended translate into a below-average IQ score. That's right, the average student at that college in Obama's home state she drank at was of below average intelligence.

What do you call someone who spends months and millions of dollars running for a job without reading the job description: an "idiot".

 | To the best of my k,i & B, I have a relatively hi-IQ, and yet spent years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in pursuit of a job that I had very little understanding of, until they golden handcuffed me to a former partner's bidet, and I don't feel like an idiot, just negligently ignorant.

I don't think it gets Dems much political benefit from pointing out the obvious here, but I'd think some of you would be a little more ashamed of what the Rs have become.

 | Decades ago I worked for the R party and certain candidates. From 1992 to the present the only party I have been registered with is the Ds, I have voted for as many Ds as Rs, so I can't really say that I am ashamed of what the Rs have become, but I am saddened, as I think they have cheapened the political landscape beyond what I thought possible. Although Sarah Palin is a minour blip in that process. |
