My aromatic experiences with other humans' nether regions generally informs of nothing of the like, although I once down there I can generally tell if the woman is ready to go, iykwim, but that's not so much based on the scent.

I've out of town for awhile and barely checking in.

Yesterday, I thought I'd catch up, but was so grossed out by the talk of rotting human flesh (which will never be admitted into a courtroom, sorry) that I had to stop.

Came back today, only to see this post, which gives me the indelible image of Penske (who I had the pleasure of meeting recently) sniffing his wife in order to see if she smelled different when pregnant.

Blech.

Carry on.

The real question is, why am I bothering to respond to a guy who plays like the Lions but claims the scoreboard has him winning 231-13?

CDF (btw, you never answered the Manbeck question, but maybe you didn't deal with him during the winter. He often puts on white gloves to protect his skin and keep it moisturized. I've seen him do it in Court (although not on the stand), in depo prep, and in a non-videotaped deposition.)

Let me say that my detailed research, aided by Mr. Penske and his scribes, reveals that Hank's backstory is, on the whole, substantially more accurate than his win-loss record. As to his time at Preparation H, well, some say you can feel more intelligent just walking across the campus.

See, Hank, I've got your back.

He might have been a bottom-half-of-the-class undergraduate at some point, or maybe he went to Harvard summer school for a semester. From there, a typical post-college track after graduation could have been a non-Ivy for a masters' (although that's somewhat unusual for a mech e.), and then work at the PTO as an examiner while attending law school at night. Or maybe work as an engineer for a while, and then going to law school much later.

Hank's reg number, if real, dates from the late '80's (probably '88 or '89). That doesn't match up with his riffs on Mossinghoff, who was Commissioner in the early '80's but left around the time the Federal Circuit started up.

Bottom line, there's some disinformation going on.* Don't believe everything you read.

* p.s. there's nothing wrong with that given the nature of these boards. I'd be surprised if there's a single poster here whose posted backstory is 100% accurate. Otherwise, over time someone could triangulate and figure out who you are. (Search "Transition Defense" on the old, old boards for an example of how people react to that kind of effort). I know I'm not interested in disclosing my identity to some of the people here. I'm sure Hank feels the same way. That said, there are a number of posters I've very much enjoyed meeting and knowing over the years.

FWIW, I have never said anything less than completely true on the boards.

Maybe this belongs on the FB, but does anyone else think that Catrin is much too lazy? And that Slave never could get what he wants out of life?

See, Hank, I've got your back.

That's a pretty low bar. The information we got from Curveball before invading Iraq was substantially more accurate than Hank's win-loss record.

Besides, you'd make up someone better than that, wouldn't you?

Maybe our next poll should focus on truthfulness on the internet.

I have no interest in fleshing out your back story. Really.

I just think a Harvard educated PTO examiner would be a very rare bird. Rare enough that it could be taken as a punch line among IP attorneys.

If that is the path you took, good on you.

There is something profoundly wrong with a universe in which Hank is actually convincing people that he went to Harvard, or in which Penske plausibly hired someone to impersonate ppnyc.

Next thing you know we're going to be hearing that I really am in that part of the multiverse where Hank bangs Eva Silverstein and Sidd doesn't tell bullshit stories on this board.
