Great people, many of them, but if 538 of them in Florida had made a more practical decision, we'd have been spared all sorts of real trouble.

According to this article in Reuters, Votecaster is pushing the stock market higher today because it is projecting that she is doing well in places like Florida.

But all the exit polls had Kerry winning in 2004, so ...

IIRC, tax_hottie and I blamed the 3,400 Pat Buchanan voters in Palm Beach County.

It has her up in a bunch of swing states, but by incredibly slim margins (FL is a little healthier). I am inclined to go with Ty that it's pretty meaningless, but I suppose the markets are hungry for data so will go with whatever's out there.

It is giving me hope for the humanity of Iowegians. Which is difficult to do and I do not believe they will actually return themselves to respectability.

It's what they do where he's from. They make Iowa jokes, just like Canadians make Newfie jokes.

I have never had a way with women, but the hills of Iowa make wish that I could. (spree: this is a song -- a Not Bob favorite from Sirius XM's "Acoustic Estrogen" channel)

Look! She's playing in Iowa City on Thursday! And Minneapolis on the 16th! Flower, get your tickets now.

She'll definitely play "Iowa (Traveling III)" since it's the 20th anniversary of the "Mortal City" album, which also means that she will play perhaps my favorite song of hers, Southern California Wants to be Western New York (spree, yup, music)

Michigan always starts out R until Detroit kicks in. But it usually boils down to Macomb County. But so far (early) that is heavy Trump. Hopefully it will turn.
