Cold

It is about 16 degrees this morning. I need to stop at the bank, and I got there at 10 minutes to 9. I try the door, because I can see all the people in there already. It's locked- and several look up and see me. I was left standing in 16 degrees until 9:01 when they finally opened.

Where the fuck is personal service or curtesy? I could see one women sipping coffee and eating a biscuit- others joking with each other- it's not like they were doing anything that would prevent them from letting me in. No secret cash counts or anything.

I stood, breaths huge clouds of smoke looking in at the sitting area, with several comfortable chairs. Why not let me in- they could ignore me until 9:01- just let me the fuck in.

And this was one of those supposed "personal service" banks for larger accounts. Fuck.

I noticed that we have been to / in at least 8 of their properties. They are all quite good. I now put the family up in the one across the street from our place when they come to visit.

Such a long way to go to brag about the fact you're a partner.

It wasn't for me. I had just left your mom's and she asked me to deposit last night's receipts for her.

A non-equity partner, however.

There are a lot of weird regulations for banks, including how many hours they can be open. Have you heard about the internet? Al Gore invented it, and it can be used to bank online.

Actually, my bank lets me in whenever I want b/c of my substantial trust fund.
