Screw the apple remote . . . get the Remote App for your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Uh, unless that's what you meant.

I should have clarified that it was Russian and Polish men having problems.

If you're really concerned about the audio, by an optical cable and use that.

For those of you that found this cryptic, allow me to translate: The Airport Express headphone jack doubles as an "optical out" called mini TOSLink. You can run a special cable from the Airport Express to the optical input of your stereo or home theater setup.

AirTunes doesn't have enough bandwidth to carry a Dolby or DTS 5.1 signal, so the benefits of this function for most iTunes content is dubious at best. It makes a lot more sense on the AppleTV, which is able to stream and buffer surround sound content, like all of the movies in the iTunes store.

I do not mean to imply criticism, so apologies in advance, but (1) how did that come to be?, and (2) does she always get what she wants?

Again, the whole childless thing, but when I was a kid I certainly didn't always get what I wanted, in particular the BB gun my dad wouldn't let me have.

I also don't recall ever really wanting the latest fad toy, and I am wondering if that was my doing or my parentls.

If you don't mean to imply criticism, then why are you being actually critical and judgmental? A more appropriate intro would have been: "I know I am being a judgmental asshole, but [judging her parenting style]." At least then, you're being honest.

This is the FB, which is generally a judgment-free zone where we can discuss what we buy, no matter how ridiculous -- or adorably furry.

For example, I saw a beautiful watch yesterday with black diamonds, which seems absolutely absurd, and like the coolest thing ever.

So, black diamond watch -- yes or no?

Or maybe you should try learning the difference between curiosity and criticism.

I can see why you could have had this mistaken belief when you came back after being away for awhile, but you've been back long enough to remember that this has never been the case. The FB is, and always has been, very much a free fire zone on judgment.

Like me, you definitely shouldnt have kids. But then again, you didn't need my encouragement to be selfish, did you?

Adder, I don't think less of you because you choose to buy something, dress a certain way, or chat up (or not) the para down the hall.

I only think less of you when you challenge other people's values because they don't match yours, and then you're insincere about it.

Embrace that you're an asshole. It will get you so much further here and in life.

See, now you're embracing your inner asshole.

Your logic needs work, but you're getting there!

Zero time. I'm like Betty Draper -- I like to have a new one lined up before I dump the old one.

Best line of the season - Gene to Betty: "You're a house cat. You're very important and have little to do."

No kids, no scotch. You're going to end up old and alone drinking bad booze.

What are you saving your money for? Recreational borium enemas?
