No. Pay closer attention to FB events.

But it is part of a theme. Mom always said things happen in threes. Case in point: the same week as the doc got decapped by the elevator doors, a carnival worker got decapped when his shoulder length hair got caught in some part of the ride as he checked that all the riders were safe & secure.

They're both disgusting. Seeing as I'd keel over instantly in response, however, I doubt I would technically be bothered by either one.

I've been pondering which would be worse to be stuck with (head or body). On the one hand, the head has the face and stuff. On the other hand, it seems like the body would produce a lot more blood than just a head, and who wants to be stuck watching a huge pool of blood getting bigger and bigger?

I would think it would be more disturbing to be stuck with the head. After 15 minutes or so, you would have more of an urge to touch a head - say, with the tip of your toe or a pen - kust to see if the eyes were still open. After enough time bored out of your skull (sorry) on an elevator, you'd be shooting imaginary three-pointers with the thing. And it's always at that embarrassing moment that the rescue crews arrive. Or maybe that's just me.

Yeah. What I was gonna say, 'cept I was beat to it!

I put the re: line in there for a reason. And put a lot of filler fluff from the front of the article to ease you into it.

I dunno, is that more or less embarrassing than being in the process of ending that long dry spell with the body of the corpse?

I have a B-list friend who frequently flies out to Vegas to play in $250 all-in tournaments. Approximately 100 other people play. B/c of the amount of money, almost all of the players are professional or are extremely experienced. My friend has been playing underground here in Chicago for a long time. He is a south side Italian who plays in some sketchy (illegal) Chicago games. Now, I have an A-list friend who is Hold 'Em crazy. He caught the bug and is quite mental about it. B-list friend told him to ABSOLUTELY not play in the big money game and insisted (begged?) A-list to play in the $25 all-in. A-list followed B-list's advice and made it to the second table. He had pocket cowboys and lost to pocket 9s. 9s went all-in. A-list followed. 9 on the flop.

75?? people in the tourney, so still decent money ($1800)

More. But on the upside, it would have a much more meaningful effect on your purity score than would touching the head with your toe or your pen.

No contest. Worse to be stuck with the head. Whatever they say about retrograde amnesia and the guillotine, I would never shake the thought that he was conscious for three minutes in there with me, and I don't like throwing up in front of other people. It's just a thing I have.

(Even doctors.)

And as far as severed heads go, I really feel for the Houston lady who was trapped in an elevator with a severed head for like an hour. I have heard that an elevator repair company had turned off the safety switches on the doors while performing maintenance, and then forgot to turn them on again. Whoops.
Oh, the rumors about that whole elevator thing have been flying around here lately. Everyone's heard soemthing different about it (body had to be recovered from the bottom of the elevator shaft, not a clean break of the head and part of the arm also, head rolled into the elevator, he was using his arms to open the closed elevator). It's totally unclear what happened. Family is suing hospital and elevator company, and they want a second opinion on the autopsy, because the official autopsy came back with a 0.01 BAC. I'm surprised that the whole thing wasn't settled immediately, it's not exactly something you want in front of a jury.

Oh yeah, that's another one that's been going around. Apparently for about 30 or so seconds, he was looking at her and trying to say something.
