That's because assets are all done by formula, but custody is where the action is, and credibility is more important than skill on the one issue that's in play.

My 2 cents. I've never been divorced.

The situation here is that the husband beat the wife unconscious. She now has a restraining order against him and is living in their house. But she was so ashamed by what happened she didn't call me for eight weeks and has gone to a few court hearings by herself.

If figure there is the standard divorce issues but there is also the issue of assault and battery and compensation for that. She has no money but the husband does. But since the case is already in motion I need to get someone pretty quickly.

It is in Santa Clara County, but since I don't practice law anymore I don't know a thing about lawyers in Santa Clara county let alone who is the best.

If they could go back in time and move to Washington I have the perfect attorneys for them.......

I know. And when I grew my pirate beard it was an homage to your use of that avatar. And the myth of Jack Sparrow. I frequently give you appropriate credit, irl.

I remember meeting Spanky over drinks one night, platonically, nttawwt. His look reminded me of a modern day Jesus, except he didn't wear robes, but normal modern day garb.......or maybe that was Sidd. I was drunk that night so I forget......:o

I'm given to understand that some number of us are in the Exec Comp field. If this is true of you, I recommend that your severance NDAs provide some company remedies in the event of this.

no practical solution: e.g. if your parents could have controlled their daughter I'd still be curious about double anal.

It was his mom, she just looked young for her age....up until the double anal fetish kicked in.

a "friend" is fairly sure that his wife had children with another man and he is saddled with the expense of raising them cuz she claims they're his. This other guy is apparently a very well-paid lawyer. the kids are in private college and the tuition is really strapping my "friend." the real dad is considering buying a ferrari. NWTF? what lawsuit should my friend bring?

unrelated question- can I sue a John Doe and compel an anon webpage to give me a sock's real name?
