Atticus, is your sister a right wing fanatic?

ps Coltrane's mom was a Nazi when I knew her so that's not feedback.

I was going to respond that this was a long way to go for that punchline but on reconsideration I think it was worth it. FWIW.

Thanks. As I recall you also voted me most helpful.

Anyone have any experience with indoor floor fountains, such as those made by Kenroy available at Home Depot?

Maybe it was worth it for you because of the family connection. I have to differ; it wasn't worth the distance one had to travel.

It wasn't a joke (AG's sister part was). It's weird when I see these people who were way in my life, so much so that things could have played differently and they would still be in my life, and they are now bat-shit and hateful.

edit- anyone else have that, like a "holy shit I'm glad I'm not with that mess?" although i suppose i might have helped steer them in some other direction?

Did you just call me Coltrane? 04-29-2013 11:08 AM

Tutto nello Stato, niente al di fuori dello Stato, nulla contro lo Stato.

Or as my grandma used to say: "va caga!"

You should have been nicer to your grandma.

E-readers can crash? Seriously? FML. Let's hope those kinks were worked out with the Paperwhite. Bc I could seriously picture myself going into nasty rages if I was at a good part in a my book and the e-reader crashed.

I started to answer this in my head and then realized that I don't have a big enough sample set because I am friends with exactly 1 of my exes on Facebook. FWIW, he was liberal when we dated and still is. Is this normal or are most people (who have Facebook accounts) friends with multiple exes?

I am facebook friends with nearly all of my exes.

I have not noted any increased craziness, political or otherwise. In some instances, clear decreases.

Probably from not having anything other than facebook exposure to me.

My first girlfriend (and first, you know) actually sent the friend request asking, "remember me?" Um. How could I not?

I too am facebook friends with most of my exes, except the one who made me a complete and total basket case and the one who isn't on facebook.

I have almost smashed it on the wall of a bus or hospital room many times. Now, I take a more zen approach. I turn on the tv, like I'm supposed to.
