Sure, Britney.

The status is he's about to become a co-parent with the mother of his infant baby so ARE YOU CRAZY?? I wouldn't assume a guy flirting while about to become a Dad means the relationship with the mother is over. A guy at my old firm used to flirt outrageously with me and flat out propositioned me when his wife was 8 months pregnant with their second child. Yet, he thought nothing of having her continue to come into the office to visit with the first child, and seemed to treat her with the upmost respect (and even adored her). Some people can simply live with that dissonance.

yeah, sort of. "inconclusive" because they took to long to do the test isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. I think the tests are probably suspect, and have a good chance of being invalidated. But when 3 of 4 samples are positive, something's up.

Wow. I thought the question was whether she should bang him, nothing more, nothing less. Why does the relationship with the mother have to be over if she just wants to bang him?

As an aside, the world is full of perfectly decent guys who have had children out of wedlock.

I know a perfectly decent guy with whom I would like to have a child out of wedlock.

You are aware, my dear RP, that this would require that you become pregnant, are you not?

In her post, when asking if she should bang him, RT said she wondered what the relationship with the baby's mother WAS, so I assume it makes a difference to RT. Yeah, I guess if she just wants to bang him it *shouldn't* matter what the status of the relationship is, but some don't like to open the pooty store for marrieds, even if they're hot.

The guy I mentioned had children in wedlock and was looking to cheat on his wife. Different scenario. I don't think a guy is a jerk necessarily if he doesn't marry the gal he got preggers.

In honor of the arrival of Yom Kippur tomorrow evening, I just ordered this tee-shirt.

I have a friend whose daughter's father is like this. My friend had a multiple night stand with this guy, perfectly nice and all, but after two weeks they decided to call it quits, amicably. Two weeks later she figures out she's pregnant. Still no desire to get back with random guy, but he's been very supportive of the kid. Pays his child support on time, picks the kid up on the weekends, etc., but is otherwise a single guy. My friend has even tried setting the guy up with a friend or two.

But I think this is a pretty rare occurance. And guys who father children while in wedlock, but out of that wedlock, are, almost by the definition of decent, not decent guys. At least in the US (individuals in countries where getting a divorce is difficult or impossible may be a different matter, but only if they are separated without expectation of reconciliation).

Translation: I've never had sex without imposing a relationship on the other person.

I say you should fuck the guy, RT. Hot is hot.

The Not Bobette tells me that those shirts are all the rage at her Catholic school ("but Sister Alberta, Mary -- uh, I mean Mary the Holy Mother, not Mary Magdalene -- was a Jewish girl!")

Personally, I think that Urban Outfitters should have gone with "Everyone Loves a Jewess" instead.

I've had plenty of rolls in the hay without a relationship, but if I'm going to do that, the guy is going to really hot but also really single. Knowing the guy is married would be buzzkill.

Oh, I see. I've had more than my fair share of those lately.

Still, I'd hate to see you ruin your firm breasts on a whim....
