Agreed. He wasn't in a lot of great movies (other than "The Sting",), but he always elevated whatever role he played. I just saw "Home for the Holidays" a few weeks ago (one of our Thanksgiving viewing staples, along with "Planes, Trains and Automobiles"). Not a classic movie, but fairly entertaining, and as always, he was terrific in it.

But if I had enough hits to be in a tie for the lead (and it's statistically impossible at this point), he'd be minus 4 points, so don't get your shorts in a twist.

I tend to connect in my mind her killing Herman with Claus von Bulow (allegedly) giving his wife Sunny an insulin overdose (which eventually led to her death). Both happened about the same time while I was in law school in the same general vicinity; both got tons of press coverage, mainly because of the fame and wealth of the victims and perpetrators. Which reminds me -- Claus would make a pretty good death pool pick (he's still alive, at age 86, living in England, at least according to Wikipedia).
