Does anyone our age give two shits about what some 20-year old thinks?

I am old. I'm fine with it.

AoN, I lost my watch about a month ago during a trip.

Instead of immediately buying a new one, I've been trying to make do with my cellphone. I haven't quite shaken the habit of looking at my naked wrist when I want to know what time it is.

I don't feel any younger, and have not been hit on by any 20-year-olds as a result of it. I'm beginning to think that this correlation is horseshit.

Luckily, we have yet to pay for a sitter as some of Sequel's unmarried friends frequently offer. Granted, I still hit on them, but they're not 20.

Are you fucking serious? You have yet to pay for a babysitter because your wife has a large collection of unmarried friends who are just dying to babysit your kid for free? The fleeting sympathy I had for you because you were never able to spend a special Christmas morning working on your Rubik's Cube while trampolining has fleeted.

Why did you start this post with "AoN"? The entire day has been spent discussing watches, and the thread recently has turned to how the younger set no longer wears watches because they tell time with their cellphones. Your post is about losing your watch and telling time with your cellphone. Starting your post with "AoN" makes it seem like you are not even fucking paying attention. Apologize.

Well, you have something to look forward to, and at $12-15/hour, the opportunity cost is a relative bargain.

Outside of billables, which vary in guestimation based on the amount I drink at lunch, time means nothing to me. I live in the moment.

Namaste!

ETN: The foregoing response was in no way an endoursement or affirmation, in way whatsoever, of your post, which, quite obviously, committed the ordinal sin of being started with "AoN", which, as my good friend, Dr. Flower, so insightfully pointed out, makes it seem like you are not even fucking paying attention. I will add that it also seems to make nonsense.

I reiterate the Honourable Flowers demand.4.an. Apology.

Now!

Also, let me conclude that while I don't have a watch or clock, that I am aware of, it feels like 4:20 to me, somewhere......Bye! For now.

I am concerned that, by responding substantively to his post, it will appear that you are validating his inexcusably incorrect introductory "AoN." Because it is you, I know this is not the case, but I am worried about perceptions.

If she's cute, even more likely. If she has a cute drunken 20 year old girlfriend who hits on you, even more so.......

now I can't choose......

we may mostly not know because it's been so long since our firms have actually interviewed a grad, but I have heard that 20-somethings buy a watch before interviewing so they look professional.

You should wear four Swatch watches.

Did you have a three or four-wheeler?
