Oh, yeah, on your recommendation, I bought a Martha Stewart dutch oven at 50% off at Macy's. I forgot it was from that jailbird and not from the frogs. You are also the reason I have a Cook's Illustrated subscription and a son who devours pea soup.

What about pulling your blackberry off of your "tool" belt?

Of course he doesn't. Because you told him you had made arrangements for something sexual, but didn't tell him any more.

The throw was accompanied by an exclamation of profanity, the combination of which scared the secretaries outside my office. I received a gentle talking to about this behavior. I am not proud of it, but under the circumstances, it was entirely justifiable conduct.

Well edited. I knew I could count on you. You're the type of guy I'd want next to me in a foxhole in the heat of battle or next door to me in the next corner office over, not counting all the non-corner offices in between, which I don't.

Bullshit, he slammed it down on the podium he keeps in his apartment for shoe slamming times of frustration. Don't modify the story just to protect against the stereotype.

at the end of a long afternoon a few years back I needed to call a government official, but did not have his direct number. Thus, I was forced to call the receptionist for his work group. she proved quite rude,
"Who do you want? Hold a moment. Who is it you want?" (as I put it in words it seems less rude, but she was rude)

I took my phone and slammed it about a dozen times on the table- luckily I didn't have an air horn. But then I realized I had to speak to the official so I had to call her back. When she answered I apologized and claimed my phone fell off the table. She was actually nice then.

Turns out you are that partner at my old firm. Huh. BTW, the guys from IT found the pictures on your hard drive.

What? What was the sexual thing you had planned?" This shit is getting old. Just spit it out in your first post.

What? And allow the alleged-libertines (but in reality blue-nosed puritans) who post here to tsk-tsk? Why should she do that? If one discusses a Not Vanilla sexual activity here, one hears a chorus of "ewwwwwws." For a group proud about collectively low purity scores, we sure are prudish.

Just ask [redacted]. [redacted], or [redacted], who made the mistake of discussing [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], respectively.

My interest in flightless waterfowl thus remains a secret.
