Disagree.

I lived on diet coke, marlboro lights, blow and hard boiled eggs my junior year in college. And I had outstanding ratio.

I'm going to have to start eating band-aids.

Do you mean the new ones, or ones that have already been used?

"This straw smells like egg burps."

"They come up through the nose."

"Lovely..."

"Your precious fuck. Get your own then, or roll your own bills."

"You're smoking the filter again."

"It's a Marlboro Light."

"So?"

"So it doesn't matter. I could just as well smoke it backwards."

It's like you were there.

Wait. Where you there?

I also manage to get to the store every few days for groceries. There's a long walk between there and going on tour.

I was just thinking how great you probably look the other day. I'm glad to have been validated. I'm wrong about a number of things and it's been sapping my self confidence as of late.

Well, I didn't believe you. It's a qualitative judgment, sometimes.

I'm glad I was able to give you some validation.

If I could change this guy to "Eva Silverstein," and "have lunch with" to "give a foot massage," I'd be maxxing out the AmEx.

Usually I'm the "I don't know anything about sports" guy, but a FOAF on Facebook just asked how long a half marathon is.

I know that all rich people with graduate degrees know how long a marathon is (and indeed some 80-85% have an obnoxious 26.2 sticker on their Land Rover to make sure everyone at soccer practice knows that when they are not being Quality Parents, they are engaging in Serious Physical Challenges). But I imagine there may be a socioeconomic class of people who do not have the time or energy to have regular 3.5 hour runs on Saturday mornings, and that some of those people therefore may not even know exactly how many miles are in a marathon. Therefore, I am less disheartened by this news than you are, even if it turns out in this case (as I'm sure is the case), that the FOAF is a rich person with a graduate degree who just lacked the common sense to figure out that a half marathon is actually half of a full marathon.

In 1986 I ran a marathon but did not have a car. I'm not sure the 26.2 bumper stickers existed anyway. Now I have a car. Can I still get a bumper sticker or is there some time period that has expired for me?
