I believe that was the Dutch commentator. Not that he's wrong.

As If I Wasn't Feeling Old Enough Already

I just heard about the nostalgia tour. This is what my parents must have felt like seeing ads for The Traveling Wilburys, or their parents going to see Glenn Miller in 1965.

My boyfriend calls this the "Time for Your Medicine" tour. And he's very, very bitter that they're not bringing it to the US.

Come on, this is nothing.

Pete Seeger did a concert last weekend I wanted to go to.

Pete Seeger was the defining music of your youth? This explains a lot.

I love that they're specifying the albums that each will be performing in their entireties, i.e., "We promise your concert experience will be untroubled by anything these performers have recorded since 1996."

He was a local who sang at all kinds of concerts and events when I was growing up. Yes, defining music of my childhood.

And, yes, he seemed old as the hills even then.

From the same country that brought you the anti-carjacking flame thrower, the vagina dentata anti-rape condom.

Dunno. On the one hand, I am thinking that it's probably the best hip hop show I may ever see. On the other hand, I'm thinking "Outdoor festival on Governor's Island in August." VIP toilets? Moan, grumble, complain, kvetch. If I had Hank's money I'd be going cabana, but times are tough.
