As I said, I did not realize how prudish some of my friends are about sex, so their line is really not that interesting.

I do not think anal is incredibly exotic, where some of them clearly do. It's not that they haven't necessarily done it (not everyone was forthcoming), it's that they considered it exotic, like "ewww, buttsex," where I consider it "Tuesday."

We also discussed blowjobs to completion, which I do consider exotic. It appears that among my friends bjtc occur very rarely, with most of my friends using them as I do -- foreplay.

Anal sex isn't exotic. Everybody's tried it, a bunch of times. Many enjoy it regularly. It's just a conversational taboo - one of those things you can't discuss so easily. Well, outside your circle of friends.

Really, how exotic can using the alternative input right next door to the traditional input be?

Bjtc is even less exotic. In fact, I'd lobby for the definition of blow job to be limited to instances involving swallowing. The other forms should be categorized as you suggest - foreplay. Or, "Orally Administered Masturbative Activity" or something like that. Perhaps a little less clinically titled.
