It's been awhile since I've seen a meltdown like this. Gotta love the internet and career questionable venting. This isn't as bad as when a stunt coordinator I know got fired and went on a three day alcohol/drug bender and someoen had to go to his house and forcibly take him away from his computer to stop him from venting more, but it's pretty funny.
Sounds to me like he's spending too much of his time reading internet forums (fora? dtb?) when he should be working.

I got my first ride in a mini cooper last night. WEre it not for the fact that it has no place to hide my saddle in a trunk when I park it places, I'd be all over it. It's not that tight inside, considering the small exterior. I now have mini lust.

Is there a big problem with people in DC breaking into cars to steal saddles? If I wander the mean streets, will I be able to score a stolen saddle for a really low price?

Actually, there is a big problem in D.C. with people breaking into cars to steal anything and everything...i had a friend who had his car broken into for the stash of quarters in the change holder...and since my saddle is worth more than your law degree, i'd really rather not have it get stolen. Aside from the cost, there's a 4 month wait period for my saddle which is hand made to order.

I'd venture a guess that it's worth more than yours, too.

Fish on Bicycles

Those crafty Japanese are now marketing a man-shaped pillow. The new model, the "Boyfriend's Arm Pillow", is pillow shpaed like a headless torso with a stuffed arm that curls around the sleeper.

"For Ms Suzuki, who is estranged from her husband, the pillow has definite advantages: It doesn't squirm or thrash in the night, and you know it'll be there in the morning.

'It keeps holding me all the way through,' she said in her home outside of Tokyo. 'I think this is great because this does not betray me.'

One-size pillows do not fit all.

So Kameo is working up new models: muscular pillows for sleepers who like their pillows well-built; slender models for those after a more sensitive, vulnerable partner."

The company is developing a female version of the pillow, also. Current plans call for a woman's lap, with a "skirt" cover. I'm not marketing expert, but I think I could improve on this design.

At barns, or in the inner city? I mean, I'd smash the fuck out of your car just for the hell of it, but in terms of wanting shit from a parked car quarters would trump a saddle hands down. Immediately usable and really much easier to transport.

Though, I could use the saddle on the boy toy. Hmmmm.

Damn. Here I just got the "lederhosen" joke, and already it's passe.

I'm willing to bet that the average person who breaks into cars to steal stuff is not a whole lot less stupid than her. This makes her opinion valuable.

More importantly, you never answered the question about where your saddle was stolen from. Seems like you could just lock it in the stall next to your horse or do you have horses stabled at different locations?
