Re: The thread where Spring has sprung, and Penske has risen from the law. Word! USMNT blog collection of video reactions to Landon's goal. The second video is my favorite. The transformation of facial expressions is priceless. And they say Americans don't 'get' football. |

P.S. Do the FBs find the Blue Light rescue ladies commercials offensive? it's crazy how canada can have anti-ethnic offense laws but allow what is so sexist here. |

So, speaking of continuing points, Hank is anti-American. Does Michele Bachman know? |

iPhone 4 Got mine and am very pleased. It's a big step up and the only reason I can think of not to buy one is AT&T (although their service has never been any worse than Verizon's for me). I'm still messing with it, but the thing I like most about it is the speed. Everything is faster. Internet, opening and closing applications, downloading and updating apps, synching, texts, etc., are all much, much faster. This is the least talked about benefit and it's the one that will be most appreciated. The camera is really good. The flash works well for a camera phone. I haven't really fucked around with the hd recording feature. The screen is nicer, but haven't watched any video on it yet(besides Deadwood for 5 seconds, but that show was filmed in the dark). The clarity is great. The colors are excellent. Haven't tested the facetime feature because I don't know anyone else who has the phone yet. The multi-tasking feature makes sense and is easy to use. The app folder has been a long time coming. The phone is definitely thinner, heavier (which I like--the first one had a nice weight and feel, the second one and the 3Gs felt plastic-y) and maybe a touch longer and a touch less wide. It feels much better in your hand. Isn't it ironic* that the one feature I haven't used or even thought about is the phone? Sound quality going in both directions is supposed to be better, but I don't really care because I hate talking on the phone and really only use it to talk to my daughter. That's all I got so far. TM *In an Alanis kind of way. eta: I ordered the thing over their website on the 15th and they actually delivered it a day early (for free). Good bye lines at the Apple Store. eata: One more thing, two more great features are, (i) the grouped email, so all your emails from multiple accounts are on one screen and (ii) the email string feature, which puts a little number on the email (on the email list page). That number tells you how many emails you've sent or received in that string. And If you tap that number it moves to a listing of all of those emails, which is amazingly convenient for work. |
