Wow. That is quite an offer. I do love both d'Affinois and Côtes du Rhône . . . and I love a man who does his homework and/or reads comments.

Unfortunately, I have decided that, though it's not official yet, I am a one-lawyer girl.

I may be a one-man girl, too, as I turned down an offer of excellent wine (and cheese) tonight while the Chimney Sweep was unavailable.

He is very excited, as am I.

And have you set a time?

Are you intending to shoot it for Hank's youtube channel?

I am available. And I've got a couple minutes of tape left at the end after transferring Bnb's tapes.

Random, Actually Legal, Question

So, what happens if your lawyer files an ex parte motion to withdraw as your counsel, and you object?

Meh. Nothin' like a good umbilical cord prolapse before the second one gets pooped into the world. A visual like that is the sort of boner-killer that basically guarantees there won't be a fifth child.

The judge determines whether there will be prejudice to you, your opponent, or itself. If any one of the three would be prejudiced (read: imminent trial date), the judge might deny the motion. Some states might even provide for an in camera conference so the attorney can tell the judge whether it's a conflict of interest withdrawal, and exactly how long it's been since he was paid.
