Hostage Fashion

I called my mother this morning after I glanced at the news when I saw a bunch of old biddies running from a discount store, after being taken hostage and released by SWAT.

She gave me a play-by-play of the incredibly poor local news coverage (it happened in a town smaller than my hometown) and then offered a fashion critique of the hostages, along with the reminder: "this is why you always have to pay attention to what you're wearing."

And that is why my mother rules.
