Opening words: "If you will suck my soul, I will lick your funky emotions."

Wrapping Up

As someone who finally got a primary vote today and a Hillary supporter, I think it would have been better for overall party unity going forward if the AP etal. had waited to name her the presumptive nominee for one more day. Sure, the math has had a pretty steady message for a while, but I think the last minute news yesterday ahead of the primaries in CA, NJ and four other states did nothing more than anger Bernie supporters (who have already shown they can be plenty angry). I know the press is in a relentless "We have to announce this first" 24-hour news cycle, but I think the timing of that announcement was unfortunate.

Probably more dangerous for Hill than Bernie, it's more likely to make her supporters stay home.

It's bizarre timing, the press has been pretending there is really a race for a while, when there wasn't, and now they are in a hurry to stop pretending before the voters make them stop.

Sometimes you need to slow it down. Real slow. As noted in the description, it is sampled in one of Cypress Hill's many pot tributes, which is how I found it. Your Daily Dose is a cover of Taxman by Junior Parker. Sit back and enjoy:

I was really struck by the historical significance of the first woman presumptive nominee for president. It really sends the message to girls everywhere that if they work really hard, they too can attack their president husband's alleged rape victims, and then become president.

Someday we will meet in Minnesota. Please don't wear a hoodie or I fear I will shoot you. Out of fear; not malice.

Good to see that even with your party nominating a mobbed-up rapist you're still willing to make shit up to attack Hill. I'd hate to think your core values had changed.

You do really this sort of stuff is what got you guys Trump, right?

Ok, I'll change "attack" to "threaten and intimidate", but it still stands. Trump is a terrible person, but so is Hillary.

The last 7 years have been refreshing, haven't they?

Not if she's on your side.

I'm not going to argue about whether Hillary is a terrible person. I don't believe she is--at least no more terrible than any other politician who has made it as far as she.

But taking your statement as true, it's like saying, "Having one's leg hacked off with a sharpened spoon and then cauterized with a candle is painful, but so is stubbing your toe." The fact that you think you can lump the two together is comical.

I've really been digging the Nite Liters. This one is Tanga Boo Gonk, which is just a fantastic name, and it has a sweet little guitar lick and funky ass horns. Because they were an insturmental group, they were ripe for the sampeing, and this one was sampled to positive effect on the first Brand Nubian album. Your Daily Dose:

Your bonus is the Brand Nubian tune that sampled it. If you can listen to Grand Puba here without nodding your head, your neck is broken:
