Caffeine soap?? What is that?

ETA: (Hi, Hank!)

The Irish Tourist Board has an office in all but the smallest towns. You can reserve rooms in B&B's there at set rates (or at least you could several years ago). B&Bs were better values than hotels. As I recall, it seemed the fairest lass in the village worked the desk, which was a bonus.

Start in Dublin, go West to Galway, then south to see the Cliffs and the Ring of Kerry. Or go North, and make sure to follow Ironweed's advice, after he explains it again.

For the first three nights, you will really appreciate the traditional Irish music (or "Trad") in the pubs. Then, you'll want to hear anything else, even Melt Banana or house music.

I'm not comfortable bringing anything overtly sexual with this crowd, as I don't know anyone very well, and some of them, not at all. It would be, uh..., somewhat unfortunate for me to bring a giant butt plug or something, when everyone else brings WILD AND CRAZY SOCKS!!!

Please help!

(PS -- Do giant butt plugs go for more than $20?)

Lottery tickets?

As for my new found ability, 4 years ago I wouldn't have been able to complete this at all I was out of shape. Now I can. I work out, I have a lot of stuff going on. it isn't important for me to be right in every area. I'm actually happier more mellow. darest I think that.

Although this nuance will undoubtedly pass you by, it means little to claim that your 10-minute-miler friends are "superior." But what you claimed is that they are in "top shape." They are not. We're darn proud of you for being able to fast-walk a 5K and think you should see if you can actually run one some day. So just accept the obvious truths given to you by the board, stop acting like a wounded puppy because people are speaking those truths that you are too delusional to accept, and move on.

I believe those are foul truths.

I was starting to worry about you. What with this mindless exercising and exotic vacationing and all, it's like you're trying to pull up those little white trash shoots before they take root in the rocky Appalachain soil.

But sure enough, back to drinking whiskey from a bucket. I do hope the wee one is still breastfeeding. And about that running - chasing or being chased??

When I was there in 1992, we went to a pub in a village called Castlegregory where we'd been promised traditional Irish music and good craic. A guy sat down in front of the mic with a guitar and said he was starting the evening with "a little West Coast blues." Having heard that Galway and Kerry and Dingle were enclaves of Irish music, we thought we were about to hear something special. And then he launched into the Wes Montgomery tune, "West Coast Blues."

Are you people all insane? You don't have to congratulate someone for not sitting on the fucking couch. If it's not reward enough to do it for yourself, then you're not worth the wasted breath or the time spent composing a post saying, "Way not to be a complete fat ass waste of space!" in response to a post so clearly looking for praise, acceptance or just plain attention for basically doing nothing.

Jesus.

The 10 min mile person plays hockey regularly I really mean that in that regard.

As for approval and acceptance, everyone seeks that. I'm not sure why tm, it has always bothered you when people do.

When someone posts; generally sepeaking it is not necessary to be a douche and assert your superiority in running or your knowledge. if you don't feel it is a good time, move on.

Damn. And I was about to take a bow for walking to a bar over the weekend. There were even a couple of steps up to get in. Who puts stairs at a bar entrance?

Hey, she's out trying to make a positive change in her life and now you have ruined it. Now she's going to get all super-fat again because you could not give her props for ambling through a 5K and because everyone else dissed her top shape jogging friends. You might as well be shoving the Big Macs down her throat.

Nice going. Jerk.

Does he/she skate reeeeeaaally slowly?

I disagree with your premise that, when someone posts here, it is generally speaking not to be a douche and assert supriority in knowledge.

i believe a careful reading of her body of posts on this issue reveal that she had worked out for a period of time, but lately, due to school, she has stopped. thus, the race was more a swan song, and trying to move on whatever fitness was left.

I mean, I had to translate quite a bit to get to that, but I think that's an accurate read.
