I recall reading something about this, but the meanings of words and phrases in ppnyc's posts are elusive and ephemeral, and so I don't always have the time or energy to lasso them to the ground as you have here.

ppnyc, how do you square your statements about losing weight and being on the road to greater fitness with your concession that you have given up on training and working out due to time constraints?

I think you've lost your mind too! I try to work out at night at a 24 hour fitness type gym. With law school it is harder. I passed my Contracts quiz...and work blew up. I concede training ebbs and flows.

You lost 64 pounds (and I doubt this number because you are an habitual liar). That is quite an accomplishment. I bet you could stand to drop another 30.

The real question is, why do you come here? And I want a legitimate answer. Last time around, you acted like a paralegal when you were not. You wanted everyone to think you were hot when you weren't (and won't be no matter how much weight you lose). You want so much to be accepted here and it's not going to happen. I'm sorry to be mean, but you will continue to be ignored on this board because you are highly fucking annoying. So what is your goal? Sit there and think about it for a second. Once you've figured out what your goal is, ask yourself, "Is there any chance I can achieve this goal with these people?" And then tell yourself, "No," and move on.

You said you're in law school. Go find a law student's board and annoy them.

I'm only seeing this b/c of your persistence in quoting, but it would seem that the intent was "'24 Hour Fitness (tm)'-type gym" rather than a "24-hour fitness-type gym". I think you should brush up on your idiot-idioms before continuing in your quixotic quoting.

I ask myself that at times as well. Initially, it was that I was so needy for attn and approval I'd even take negative attn. Now, honestly? To seek approval or chiding and lecturing from people I've never met? Less important.

The need to be right has gone away because I have more going on to balance in life. my time away I've focused on rehashing and rebuilding a lot of things.

Will I get the approval of your little cool crowd clique? No. I'm not delusional as plf said But, there are a few cool people here that I relate to. If you find that annoying, so be it. you'll deal. but you're a controlling douche and you can't. :)
